Does Valorant Xray work on Windows 11? Checking requirements before buying

Before I buy anything, I want to make sure my PC isn't going to be a problem.

I'm on Windows 11 with a Ryzen 5 and 16 GB RAM.

The confusing part is all the HVCI, Core Isolation, TPM and Secure Boot stuff.

Are those actually required for the Valorant Xray product or are they just recommended settings?

Also, do I need a crazy GPU for this or is a normal gaming PC fine?

The requirements on the current product page say Windows 10/11 and list HVCI, Core Isolation, TPM and Secure Boot as required. It also lists Ryzen 5 or Core i5 and GTX 1060 / RX 580 or better.

16GB RAM is already above the listed minimum btw. The page says 8GB minimum and 16GB recommended.

Okay that's good. I have a 3060 so GPU should definitely be fine.

I'd check Secure Boot and TPM first. Windows Security will show some of the security stuff, but Secure Boot may need checking in BIOS depending on your setup.

Also don't just assume because Valorant itself runs that every third-party tool will. Different products have different requirements.

Yep. And the Xray listing also says Cloud DMA is required for full functionality, so that's another thing to read before purchase.

That's the part I missed. So basically check the entire requirements section instead of just seeing "Windows 11" and assuming I'm good.

Exactly. Five minutes checking your system now is better than finding out after checkout.

Especially with TPM and Secure Boot. Those two love causing random confusion lol.
