Question for people who use third-party stuff regularly.

Valorant gets an update and suddenly everyone starts asking "is it working?"

What's the normal way to check?

Do you just try launching it or is there somewhere you should look first?

Feels like launching random old versions immediately is probably the dumbest option.

    Don't launch the old version first. Check the provider's status or Discord announcement.

    Yep. Usually you want to know whether the product is current before doing anything.

    That's what I figured. I just didn't know whether "update pending" usually meant hours or days.

    Depends on the product and the patch. Some updates are tiny, some break everything.

    The vendor listing says its Valorant product is updated after Valorant patches and currently lists a 2 to 6 hour update window. Active subscribers are notified through Discord when updates are ready. So checking the official status page and provider announcements makes more sense than guessing.

    Exactly. Also don't trust somebody on a random forum saying "working" when their post is from last month.

    This is probably the biggest thing people miss with cheats. "Working" isn't a permanent property. Game gets patched, anti-cheat gets changed, Windows gets updated, something breaks.

    Makes sense. So status page first, then announcements, then support if something still looks weird.

    That's the sensible order. And if the provider has documentation, read that before opening a support ticket. Saves everyone time.
